What you see here helps explains how I choose vintage for my shop Shrimpton Couture, but at the same time it probably does not really explain it at all.
This space mixes vintage, style, interiors, clients, shoes, jewels and celebrities, with a drop of decadence and dash of yearning for days gone by.
Images of the past and the present collide and overlap to form this little peak into all the odds & ends of my crazy vintage filled life.

In March 1973 Vogue featured a stunning Jean Muir dress that just so happens to be a close cousin to the Jean Muir currently listed on Shrimpton Couture. From the same collection is this stunning, shorter suede detailed version - available here

Spotted in Vogue (on the right)- this Ossie Clark sale is long sold but its always fun to spot a piece that appeared in print back in its original day - its still in the Shrimpton Clookbook though - see it styled on a modern girl by clicking here
