What you see here helps explains how I choose vintage for my shop Shrimpton Couture, but at the same time it probably does not really explain it at all.
This space mixes vintage, style, interiors, clients, shoes, jewels and celebrities, with a drop of decadence and dash of yearning for days gone by.
Images of the past and the present collide and overlap to form this little peak into all the odds & ends of my crazy vintage filled life.

Erwin Blumenfeld 1953change the shoes, take away the gloves and hat (though I think they are lovely) and this photo could be in a magazine today and the dress from the fall 2012 runway.
THAT is why vintage is relevant now
