What you see here helps explains how I choose vintage for my shop Shrimpton Couture, but at the same time it probably does not really explain it at all.
This space mixes vintage, style, interiors, clients, shoes, jewels and celebrities, with a drop of decadence and dash of yearning for days gone by.
Images of the past and the present collide and overlap to form this little peak into all the odds & ends of my crazy vintage filled life.

  Some of the older items where shot in a different way so when you super-size them they are not as pretty. I am working on re-shooting these older items so you can see them in their full glory! Here are three recently re-done and worth re-seeing! A 1950s pink silk & sequin dress, a twenties raspberry silk embroidered shawl, and a gorgeous silk Gigi Young 50s wiggle dress!
